Hyderabad-based Resplice Autism Research Institute, which claims to be India’s first centre offering Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) therapy for autistic children, has announced a free assessment, and awareness camp for people with autism from October 29 to November 15 at its Manikonda facility. The camp will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
At a press conference held in the city, Chandrasekhar Thodupunuri, Chairman of Resplice Autism Research Institute, said the institute was founded with the mission of addressing the root biological and environmental causes of autism. The initiative, he said, emerged from his personal journey as a parent of a child diagnosed with autism.
