The Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan police has unearthed a major fraud in the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS), in which a doctor and a private lab operator allegedly colluded to cause heavy losses worth crores of rupees to the State exchequer through fake medical claims.
The SOG has arrested both the persons in connection with the case. Additional Director General of Police (SOG) Vishal Bansal said here that the two accused and some others had indulged in wrongdoing, severely impacting the RGHS, which is a flagship scheme providing cashless medical treatment to the government employees and pensioners.
