A random food safety inspection conducted at a KFC outlet in Rajarajeshwari Colony, Kondapur, has found violations related to the quality of cooking oil, prompting authorities to initiate action under relevant rules.

According to the Zonal Commissioner of Serilingampally, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, the inspection was carried out along with the Food Safety Officer (FSO) team on Monday. During the inspection, Total Polar Compounds (TPC) levels in the cooking oil were found to be above the permissible limits. The oil was also observed to have dark discolouration, indicating deterioration and potential health risks.
