The suspicious death of a 36-year-old man in Ramadugu mandal of Karimnagar district on December 5 has turned out to be a case of supari killing. The police arrested the father and wife of the deceased and three supari killers on Sunday (December 21, 2025).
A detailed investigation by the Ramadugu police unraveled the gruesome murder of a man identified as G. Anjaiah, a Gulf returnee, by three supari (contract) killers who strangled him to death before dumping his body in a canal over a fortnight ago.
According to the police, 63-year-old G. Lachaiah, allegedly hired three supari killers for ₹3 lakh to eliminate his son Anjaiah to continue his ‘extra-marital affair’ with the latter’s wife (daughter-in-law).
A thorough investigation by the police led to the arrest of the two conspirators – the father and wife of the deceased, as well as the supari killers identified as – K. Ravi, U. Koteshwar and Abrar.
