A fire broke out at a car showroom in Attapur in the early hours of Tuesday (February 10, 2026). No casualties or injuries reported. As a precautionary measure, around 90 residents from a neighbouring residential apartment were evacuated.

According to an official from the Fire Control, a distress call was received at 1.44 a.m., following which two fire tenders from Rajendranagar were rushed to the spot. The blaze had engulfed Adarsha Automotives Pvt Ltd, located near pillar number 185 in Rajendranagar.

A team of nine personnel, including six firefighters and three officials, carried out firefighting operations and brought the fire under control within about 45 minutes. Two cars were completely gutted in the incident, while two others sustained partial damage.

Rajendranagar Station Fire Officer Chandra Naik said a preliminary probe suggested that the fire may have been triggered by a fire lit by someone outside the showroom and was not of electrical origin. “Officials are examining CCTV footage from the vicinity of the showroom to verify this aspect,” he said.

A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.
