FICCI FLO (FICCI Ladies Organisation) Chennai, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) honoured women from various fields for their meaningful contribution to society.

Sathya Jeganathan, paediatrician, was given the lifetime achievement award in recognition of her lifelong pursuit of philanthropic service.

Meena Dadha, Founder of Mukti: M.S. Dadha Foundation, was also given the lifetime achievement award. Journalist Palki Sharma gave the awards.

Ms. Sharma spoke about women empowerment and influence. She said: “Influence grows when women sponsor other women, intervene in biased moments, make clear asks without apology, challenge assumptions, demand transparency, claim stretch opportunities, build strategic relationships, and put themselves forward.”

With 20 chapters and over 15,000 members nationwide, FLO provides a dynamic platform for women to connect.
