Ministers P. Srinivasa Reddy, D. Seethakka, K. Surekha and others at the launch of the three-day State-level ‘Mega Rythu Mela’ in Hanumakonda on Tuesday.

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Tuesday reiterated that the State government was committed to the development and welfare of farmers, describing it as a pro-farmer ruling that stands with the farming community.

Addressing farmers after inaugurating the three-day State-level ‘Mega Rythu Mela’ at the University Arts and Science College Grounds in Subedari, he said the government was taking comprehensive measures with a focus on farmers’ welfare and thanked those who attended the mega fair in large numbers. He said efforts were being made to make agriculture profitable by providing modern agricultural machinery and equipment on subsidy.
