MLA Abhay Patil inaugurated an experience centre of HomeLane, a home interiors brand, in Shahapur in Belagavi on June 21.

The 850 sq. ft. experience centre showcases modular kitchens, wardrobes, and complete home interior solutions. Visitors can explore design concepts, consult with interior experts, and receive customised solutions tailored to their budgets and space requirements.

One of the key attractions is HomeLane’s digital design platform, which allows customers to visualise interiors in 3D and obtain pricing estimates during the planning stage itself.

Ramesh Tubachi, Vice-President of the Karnataka Professional Civil Engineers Act Steering Consortium for North Karnataka, and CREDAI Belgaum President Yuvraj Hulji were among those present.

Mahesh G. Chonnad, founder of Mahesh Chonnad Interior and HomeLane’s franchise partner in Belagavi, said the decision to bring the brand to the city was driven by changing customer expectations. “Belagavi has witnessed significant growth in residential construction over the past few years. People today are looking for professionally planned interiors, clear timelines, and transparent pricing. That’s what attracted me to partner with HomeLane,” he said.

“It would help homeowners overcome the uncertainty during interior projects, particularly regarding costs, design changes, and delivery schedules. Some customers have great ideas for their homes, but find it difficult to visualise the final outcome. With HomeLane’s technology platform, they can see their designs in 3D before work begins and make informed decisions,” he said.
