The Executive Officer of Yerradoddi Gangamma temple in Kadiri Rural Mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district was caught allegedly stealing silver articles and sarees belonging to the temple. The EO Murali Krishna was suspended following directions from Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu immediately.
Murali Krishna was caught by locals stealing five kilos of silver ornaments and sarees gifted by devotees. He was leaving from the temple, reportedly along with his family members in an auto when locals noticed him.
Locals caught him and took him directly to the police station in the auto.
Taking a serious note of the incident, Mr. Naidu ordered the Endowments Department officials to suspend the EO and register a case against him.
Police, after preliminary investigation, found the EO guilty and registered a case against him.
