E-application for Agniveer recruitment in Telangana opens

The online registration and application window for recruitment into the Indian Army under various Agniveer categories has opened, inviting aspirants from Telangana to apply for the recruiting year 2027.

The notification for recruitment of unmarried youth under different Agniveer categories was published on February 13, on the official website. Applications are being invited from candidates domiciled in all 33 districts of Telangana that fall under the jurisdiction of the Army Recruiting Office, Secunderabad. 

Recruitment will be carried out for the categories of Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Clerk or Store Keeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass and Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass. Eligible candidates are permitted to apply for up to two categories based on their qualifications.

The upper age limit for all Agniveer categories has been increased from 21 to 22 years. The Online Common Entrance Examination will be conducted in 13 languages, including Telugu. Bonus marks will be awarded to candidates holding ITI, Diploma and NCC qualifications.

Applications must be submitted online. The application window will close on April 1. Admit cards for the online Common Entrance Examination, which is tentatively scheduled to be held from June 1 to June 15, will be available for download from the same website.
