The Narcotics Wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB), along with multiple city police stations, arrested 15 persons, including three foreign nationals, during a crackdown on drug trafficking across Bengaluru.

Based on credible information, police registered cases under the NDPS Act, 1985, and raided multiple locations. During the operation, 15 accused — three foreign nationals and 12 persons from other States in India — were taken into custody.

Police seized a total of 9.46 kg of hydro ganja, 34 kg of ganja, 5.67 kg of MDMA, 131 gram of cocaine, 29 LSD pills, 27 gram of LSD strips, 462 ml of hashish oil, a car and a two-wheeler, four mobile phones, and ₹24,500 in cash.

The total market value of the seized contraband is pegged at around ₹21.5 crore.

During interrogation, the accused claimed to have procured the narcotic substances from abroad and out-of-State suppliers for sale to college students and IT/BT employees.

Police said efforts are underway to trace and apprehend other suppliers.

The operation was carried out in coordination with personnel from Amruthahalli, Hebbagodi, J. B. Nagar, Seshadripuram, Mahalakshmi Layout and Govindapura police stations.
