The district administration has imposed a ban on the operation of drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles along the convoy routes of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who is scheduled to visit Kallakurichi district on Friday (December 26, 2025).

Collector M.S. Prasanth, in a statement, said the Chief Minister would travel by road, passing through the toll plaza at Ulundurpet to attend the function venue at Veeracholapuram, where he is scheduled to inaugurate the Integrated Collectorate complex on December 26.

The Chief Minister will leave Kallakurichi on Friday afternoon.

As part of security measures, a ban had been imposed on flying drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles along the convoy routes in Ulundurpet, Veeracholapuram, Emapper, and areas within the jurisdictional limits of Kallakurichi district on December 25 and 26.

Action, as per law, would be initiated against those violating the ban, the Collector said.
