PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss said on Saturday that the DMK would ensure the defeat of the Congress in the Assembly election due to their demand of seeking a share in power.
At the party’s meeting of social media functionaries in Sholinganallur, he said while the National Democratic Alliance was strong, confusion existed in the INDIA bloc.
“In the DMK alliance — VCK-Congress, Congress-DMK, and VCK-MDMK — there are fights within the alliance itself. The DMK will ensure the defeat of Congress candidates as they will ask for a share in power if they win,” he said.
The PMK cadre should realise that the DMK is to blame for the falling out between him and his father PMK founder S. Ramadoss, he claimed. “It is they who are our enemy. It is the DMK that created this confusion among us. It is the DMK that incited the fight among us. It is the DMK that created confusion causing us to fight among ourselves over positions,” Dr. Anbumani added.
