Distribution of printed pamphlets resembling ‘coupons’ by DMK cadre during electioneering at Kumbakonam in Thanjavur district led to a skirmish between them and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam members on Tuesday (April 14, 2026).
Two DMK and a TVK cadre sustained injuries in the clash and were treated at Government District Headquarters Hospital.
