Director of Municipal Administration reviews progress of Kallakurichi bus terminus

Director of Municipal Administration P. Madhusudhan Reddy on Sunday directed the officials to expedite the construction of the new bus terminus on bypass road in Kallakurichi.

Accompanied by Collector M.S. Prasanth, Mr. Reddy inspected the progress of the project and directed the officials to expedite the pending work at the terminus. He reviewed the construction work at the bus bays, passenger waiting room and sanitary complexes.

The terminus is being built at a cost of ₹16.21 crore and will include separate bays for mofussil and town buses, shops, administrative room, restaurant, timekeeper’s office, ticket booking counter, an automated teller machine room and toilets.
