Minister in-charge of Mysuru district H.C. Mahadevappa extended an official invitation for the Dasara festival 2025 to Pramoda Devi Wadiyar of the erstwhile royal family of Mysuru.

Ms. Mahadevappa called on Ms. Wadiyar at her residence in Mysuru Palace premises and extended her an invitation for the Dasara festival on behalf of the Karnataka government.

In keeping with the traditions, the Minister in-charge presented a ‘Phala Tamboola’, a basket of fruits and betel leaves, while inviting her to the Dasara festivities.

Dasara festival is scheduled to be inaugurated atop Chamundi Hills on September 22 and will conclude with the Vijayadhashami procession on October 2.

Deputy Chairperson of the State’s Guarantees Implementation Committee, Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikant Reddy, City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar, Superintendent of Mysuru district police N. Vishnuvardhan and Chief Executive Officer of Mysuru Zilla Panchayat S Yukesh Kumar were also present on the occasion.
