Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry and Mark Ruffalo have teamed up for Crime 101, a heist drama set in Los Angeles. The film builds its story around crime and ambition, with the city’s wide, sunlit landscape forming the backdrop.
At the centre is a mysterious jewel thief, played by Chris Hemsworth, whose carefully planned robberies along the 101 freeway have left investigators confused. As the story moves forward, the tension grows around who he is and how long he can stay ahead. The film is now streaming on OTT.
Crime 101 on OTT: When and where to watch
Crime 101 released on Prime Video on April 1. The film runs for 139 minutes and carries an R rating. It is based on Don Winslow’s novella of the same name and is written and directed by Bart Layton, known for American Animals and The Imposter. Watch the trailer here:

As the logline reads: “Crime 101 follows a master jewel thief (Chris Hemsworth) whose meticulous robberies along the 101 freeway in sun-bleached LA have confounded police. A lone detective (Mark Ruffalo) is on his tail. When their paths cross with a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry), all three face choices that will define their fates in a deadly climax with millions of dollars at stake.”
