Crew member of Nivin Pauly film electrocuted in Kochi

A production crew member of a Malayalam film, starring Nivin Pauly, was reportedly electrocuted while he was at work at Edayar here on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Vishnu K.T., 32, a native of Manaloor in Thrissur, according to the Binanipuram police.

Vishnu, an electrician with the art wing of the production, reportedly suffered the fatal electric shock while setting up the props for the shoot in a godown.

The incident took place around 1.45 p.m. Though he was rushed to a hospital at Pathalam, his life could not be saved. The accident took place at the location of the untitled film being directed by Nashid Famy.
