The South West Zone Task Force and Begum Bazar Police seized a bulk stock of suspected counterfeit Kanvee TCT saw blades during a raid on Labdhi Enterprises in the Begum Bazar area on Friday (December 5).
The operation followed credible intelligence on duplicate Kanvee-branded cutting tools being circulated in city markets.
According to investigators, the premises at Begum Bazar were allegedly stocking large quantities of fake blades. Preliminary findings indicated that counterfeit items linked to the shop may have been in circulation since 2019.
