The annual cooperative spices fair, which started in Jaipur on Friday (April 17, 2026), has attracted the institutions from several States, showcasing and selling their products. Common people facing food adulteration have evinced interest in purchasing pure spices and other products at reasonable prices at the fair.
Minister of State for Cooperatives Gautam Kumar Dak, who inaugurated the fair at Jawahar Kala Kendra in Jaipur, said the event would enable the farmers and spice producers get remunerative prices for their produce. “Fairs like this provide a robust platform for marketing the spices and meeting the needs of consumers,” Mr. Dak said.
