Congress leaders criticised BRS MLA and former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav for his recent remarks against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, and questioned why he didn’t raise the Secunderabad issue when he was Minister for 9 years.

Fisheries Corporation Chairman Mettu Sai Kumar and TPCC official spokesperson Charan Koushik Yadav recalled that when K. Chandrashekar Rao was Chief Minister, Mr. Yadav, despite being a minister, failed to secure district status or a separate corporation for Secunderabad.

Both Mr. Sai Kumar and Charan Kaushik further alleged that Mr. Srinivas Yadav had served as a minister in both TDP and BRS governments but delivered “zero development” to Hyderabad and Secunderabad. They challenged the BRS MLA to come forward for a public debate on his performance as a minister and questioned whether fear of the “boss” prevented him from raising issues earlier.

Khairatabad DCC president Motha Rohith Mudiraj accused Mr. Yadav of irregularities in the sheep distribution scheme during BRS regime, claiming that the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) had pointed out lapses in its implementation. “Mr. Yadav has betrayed the Yadav community by misleading shepherds and Kuruma families,” he alleged.
