Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was unable to defend his actions and was engaging in arrogant and diversionary statements instead of offering clear explanations on the Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation Scheme (PRLIS) project.

In response to Chief Minister’s outbursts against the BRS at Kosgi, Mr. Rama Rao took to ‘X’, and said the Congress government’s handling of water issues amounted to ‘water betrayal’ and asserted that such actions would not go unchallenged.

He alleged that Mr. Revanth Reddy had failed to safeguard the State’s water rights and had compromised the Palamuru–Rangareddy project, thereby betraying his own district. He said the BRS would expose the Congress’s record on water rights both in the Assembly and before the public.

Echoing similar sentiments, former Minister T. Harish Rao criticised the Chief Minister’s language, stating that leaders who fail to govern and cannot answer opposition questions resort to personal abuse. He said Telangana society was closely watching the government’s conduct and warned that arrogance and irresponsible behaviour would invite a strong public response in the next elections.
