Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday said the government will extend all support for the Amazon Web Services to invest in the State.

The Chief Minister conveyed this to an official delegation of AWS that paid a courtesy call on him.

During the meeting, the delegation briefed Mr. Reddy about the ongoing Data Centre projects, expansion plans and other issues related to the AWS operations in Telangana. The CM assured that the government will extend all kinds of support to the company to invest.

Kerry Person, Global Head of AWS Data Centre, Vikram Sridharan, Director of Infrastructure Public Policy, Anurag Kilnani and others were present, CMO said in a release.

Earlier this year, AWS said it will invest ₹60,000 crore in data centres in Telangana. The AWS region in Hyderabad will play an increasingly important role in supporting the company’s growth of cloud services in India, including AI in the future, it had then said.
