In a step to help patients formally record their end-of-life care preferences, Sparsh Hospice inaugurated a Living Will Clinic in Hyderabad on Saturday (October 11). The clinic aims to empower individuals to create legally recognised advance directives that guide medical decisions in situations where they may no longer be able to express their wishes.

The clinic will offer consultations, legal assistance and counselling for patients and their families on the process of making a living will. Staffed by palliative care physicians, psychologists and professionals trained in advance care planning, the clinic will also provide follow-up support to ensure each directive is properly documented, witnessed and accessible to treating medical teams.
