Checks conducted at Kurnool RTC bus stand

Thorough checks were conducted at RTC bus stand in Kurnool as a precautionary measure in the wake of the recent terror attack in New Delhi.

Bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs checked the RTC bus stand parking, while the car parking and parcel office was checked by police teams led by Kurnool Deputy Superintendent of Police J. Babu Prasad. The police team also checked the baggage of passengers.

Police said vigil was kept on people moving suspiciously and at the parcel office. DSP Babu Prasad urged people to contact the police on Dial 112 or Dial 100 about the suspicious movement of people and also on unclaimed baggage.
