The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Monday announced the final results of the second round of seat allotment for admission to UG CET courses, including engineering.
The admission process for CET courses will be open from August 25 to August 28. Candidates allotted seats can pay the prescribed fee and report to the respective college during this period, said KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna.
Candidates allotted seats in Engineering, Architecture, Yoga and Naturopathy, Agricultural Sciences, Veterinary Science, B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharm, Pharm-D, BPT, BPO and Allied Health Sciences can choose Choice 1, pay the fee and take admission if they are satisfied with the allotted seat. Those who do not want the allotted seat can select Choice 4 and exit the counselling process.
Candidates who select Choice 1, join the CET course and still hope to get a better seat can participate in the third round of seat allotment by logging in.
However, candidates who do not select Choice 1 but wish to participate in the third round must first cancel the seat allotted to them in the second round by paying a ₹5,000 penalty. They can then log in, pay the registration fee afresh and participate in the third round, Mr. Prasanna said.
