National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah said on Friday (April 17, 2026) that the Centre’s move to introduce Bills on delimitation and women reservation has “people worried” and the approach adopted was “wrong”.

Mr. Abdullah, whose party was a member of the J&K Delimitation Commission in 2021, said, “You saw how delimitation was carried out here (in J&K). It was done so wrongly.”
