Kadapa police have recovered and handed over a ₹4.5 lakh worth gold chain to the rightful owner, who lost it while riding a bike, with the help of CCTV footage.
According to the police, Seelam Nagaiah of RTC Colony was riding two-wheeler when he accidentally lost his bag containing the gold chain under the Chinna Chowk police limits on January 13, 2026. Nagaiah immediately registered a complaint with the Chinna Chowk police and Circle Inspector G. Obulesu began investigation by reviewing the CCTVs footage.
Police found that a person picked up the bag which was lying on the road. They tracked him and recovered the bag with the gold chain.
