Bus driver booked for allegedly trying to assault lawyer

The Ernakulam Central police have booked a private bus employee for allegedly attempting to assault a lawyer. The unidentified bus driver was booked on a complaint filed by Bharath R., 25, a lawyer.

The alleged incident took place near the District Court, Park Avenue Road, in the city, when Mr. Bharath questioned the bus driver for allegedly trying to ram the motorcycle cycle he was riding earlier in the day.

The accused has been charged with attempting to commit culpable homicide, uttering obscene words in a public place, criminal intimidation, and rash driving.
