The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will conduct the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple at Karvetinagaram, near Puttur, from June 6 to 14.

TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra on Monday released the posters and booklets for the annual festival at his chambers in the TTD Administrative Building.

According to the schedule, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, the traditional temple cleansing ritual, will be performed on June 2, followed by Ankurarpanam, the ceremonial initiation of the festivities, on June 5.

The Brahmotsavams will commence with Dhwajarohanam, the hoisting of the sacred flag atop the temple flagstaff, on June 6. Other key events include Kalyanotsavam on June 9, Garuda Seva on June 10 and Rathotsavam on June 13.

Mr. Ravichandra directed officials to make elaborate arrangements for the convenience of devotees, including queue management, shamianas, drinking water and distribution of prasadam. He also instructed them to ensure attractive electrical illumination and floral decorations befitting the annual festivities.

Deputy Executive Officer Naga Ratna, temple priests and staff were present.
