The Kannada Book Authority in association with the Gulbarga University will be releasing the collected works of senior writers Chennaveera Kanavi and Prof. Chandrashekar Patil, here on December 23.
Addressing presspersons here on Saturday, Kannada Book Authority member B.H. Niragudi said that Vice-Chancellor of Gulbarga University Shashikant S. Udikeri will inaugurate the programme by releasing the volumes of literary works of both the writers.
On the occasion, renowned writer S.G. Siddaramaiah will distribute free books to schools and colleges in Kalaburagi district.
Four comprehensive volumes of writer Chennaveera Kanavi and six comprehensive volumes of Prof. Chandrashekar Patil would be released, Mr. Niragudi added.
Family members of the late writers, including Neela Patil and Priyadarshi Kanavi, and co-editor Manjunath T. will be present.
