Bombay HC sets aside charges framed against four accused in 2006 Malegaon blast case

The Bombay High Court on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) allowed appeals filed by four persons accused in 2006 Malegaon blasts case and quashed a special court order that had framed charges against them under 19 heads.

A Division Bench of Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Shyam C. Chandak held that there was no sufficient material on record to proceed against the appellants. The appellants are Rajendra Chaudhary, Dhan Singh, Manohar Ram Singh Narwaria, and Lokesh Sharma.
