Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Monday (September 15, 2025) slammed the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, saying that it is not running as per the Constitution and law. He also targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party, describing it as ‘not a political party but one working like a gang’. The public have made up their mind to wipe out the BJP from the State in the 2027 Assembly election, Akhilesh Yadav has said.

“The BJP government is not running as per the law and Constitution. The government is putting pressure on people. The government has no control over the police. The police are doing injustice to people. The BJP is not a political party; it is a kind of a gang. People have understood the BJP; in the 2027 Assembly election, the people will wipe out the BJP,” said Mr. Yadav, addressing a press conference in Lucknow.

He positioned the SP as a party against any kind of outsourcing in jobs. “The SP is against outsourcing of jobs. If the Samajwadi Party government is formed, the outsourcing system will be completely banned. The Samajwadi Party will work to provide permanent jobs and full reservation to the youth,” the SP president said.

‘Education, health infrastructure in ruins’

The former Chief Minister accused the BJP of ruining the education and health infrastructure in the State, alleging shortage of academic staff in educational institutions. “The BJP government has ruined education, health, and law and order. There are not enough professors and staff in medical colleges. This government has made medical education expensive. How will the children of the poor become doctors? The BJP government destroyed the medical institutions built under the Samajwadi government,” he said.

Mr. Yadav also addressed a gathering of Vishwakarma community, pushing his PDA plank (PDA is an acronym for Pichhda, Dalits and Alpsankhyak (Backwards, Dalit and Minority), where he said only the PDA movement is capable of protecting social justice. “Lord Vishwakarma is considered the creator and architect of the universe, a symbol of creativity, technical prowess, and innovation. Potters, carpenters, butchers, and craftsmen are all part of PDA. It is the PDA community that has the power to remove the BJP from power. Under the BJP rule, the Vishwakarma community is completely neglected in terms of jobs, employment and education,” he alleged.
