BJP State in-charge Harish Dwivedi will be on a three-day visit to Karnataka starting November 2. This is his first visit to the State after assuming the new responsibility.

Disclosing this to media persons in Bengaluru on Monday, BJP State president B.Y. Vijayendra said Mr. Dwivedi would hold a meeting of party State office bearers during his visit.

He would also meet members of the Core Committee and senior leaders, and would be visiting Kolar and Chitradurga as part of the party organisational strengthening exercise.

Mr. Vijayendra claimed that the present political atmosphere in the State was favourable to the BJP. “In fact, a private agency has done a survey that indicates that the BJP would get 115 seats if the elections were held now,” he noted.
