BJP State vice-president P. Surender Reddy, Tirupati district president Samanchi Srinivas and State official spokesperson Kola Anand take part in the Janata Varadhi programme at the party office in Tirupati on Friday.

As part of a call given by the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Tirupati district unit on Friday organised the Janata Varadhi programme at the party office here, with the objective of building a bridge between citizens and the government.

BJP State vice-president P. Surender Reddy participated in the programme along with district president Samanchi Srinivas and State official spokesperson Kola Anand, and received representations from the public on various civic issues. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Srinivas said the idea was to hold such a forum every Friday to facilitate solutions to long-pending public grievances and to strengthen people’s confidence in the party.

On the first day, the programme received 25 representations from the public. The party office-bearers, designated as conveners and co-conveners, will forward the complaints to the concerned departments for necessary action. District general secretary K. Naresh and vice-president Anusha Ramakrishna were among those who took part in the maiden Janata Varadhi programme.
