The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday (December 15, 2025) appointed Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal as it’s election in-charge for the upcoming Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu.

BJP national president J.P. Nadda also appointed Union Minister of State  for Law & Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal and Minister of State Civil Aviation and Cooperation Muralidhar Mohol as co-incharges, as per the announcement made by Arun Singh, BJP National Secretary and Headquarter In-Charge.

“Under their guidance, there is no doubt that the Bharatiya Janata Party and the National Democratic Alliance will work with speed and determination and emerge victorious in the 2026 Assembly elections,” BJP Tamil Nadu president Nainar Nagenthran said in a post on X.
