Binoy Kurien is Kannur district panchayat president

Binoy Kurien of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) was sworn in as president of the Kannur district panchayat on Saturday. The LDF’s T. Shabna was elected vice-president.

District Collector Arun K. Vijayan administered the oath of office to Mr. Kurien.

Mr. Kurien represents the Peralassery division of the district panchayat. He was felicitated by Minister for Museums and Registration Kadannappalli Ramachandran.
