SDM Narayana Heart Centre Dharwad will organise a bikeathon for motorcycles to raise awareness about heart health and the importance of preventive care as part of a World Heart Day function on Sunday.
The event will be flagged off from the hospital premises at 7.30 a.m. on Sunday by Assistant Commissioner of Police Prashanth Siddanagoudar.
Police Inspector Hubballi Rural Murugesh Channanavar will be the chief guest. Facility Director Shashikumar I. Pattanshetti, Medical Superintendent Keerthi P.L. and doctors and staff of the hospital will be present.
The rally will start at SDM Narayana Heart Centre and culminate at Karnatak College.
The organisers have requested participants to wear helmets and proper protective gear.
