Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan calls upon the people to be wary of attempts being made by some anti-social elements to create differences in society on the basis of religion, caste, and certain sensitive matters, while assuring them that the government will sternly deal with the trouble mongers as per law.

Referring to some objectionable comments made against the government by a few persons in Machilipatnam through YouTube a few days ago, Mr. Pawan Kalyan said that those who were unappreciative of the good work being done by the ruling NDA dispensation unleashed a malicious campaign at a time when the State was recovering from the sordid past, and they should be left to be punished within the legal framework.

He observed that the inimical forces, who apparently had political backing, were causing unrest by passing provocative remarks on the government and its leaders, and were looking to spark conflicts with sinister motives.

People should not play into the hands of the unruly elements, including unscrupulous analysts airing their views through the social media with bad intentions. Instead, complaints should be lodged with the police to enable them to take action as per the extant criminal laws.

Mr. Pawn Kalyan said he had ordered an inquiry into the Machilipatnam incident, and notices were served to the persons involved in it. People must be alert to the machinations of such individuals and let their actions be countered democratically and strictly in accordance with the law, he added.
