Baashyaam Group completes landmark ₹1,212-crore land purchase in Nungambakkam

In one of the city’s biggest real-estate transactions to date, Baashyaam Group has officially registered the iconic 5.8-acre property on Haddows Road, Nungambakkam, that it had acquired from Standard Chartered Bank. The land value, including registration costs, is estimated at around ₹1,212 crore.

Baashyaam Group is still assessing the type of development to pursue at the site, located in a part of the city where large land parcels have become increasingly scarce. CBRE served as the transaction advisor for the deal.

In recent years, Baashyaam Group has secured several prime parcels across the city and is currently developing a range of luxury residential and other high-end projects. Some of its key projects include the upcoming luxury project in ECR-Prarthana by Baashyaam, luxury apartments at the Crowne Plaza site in Alwarpet, The Peak in Ashok Nagar, The Pinnacle in Boat Club , The epic in Gopalapuram , Royal Damera Gardens in Poes Garden, and Promenade, enchanted at OMR Thuraipakkam, a commercial project in Guindy.
