The Kuttampuzha police in Ernakulam took Arjun Ayanki into custody for allegedly threatening the SHOs of Kothamangalam and Oonnukal through social media.

The police took him into custody after producing a warrant at the Thalassery Sub Jail. Ayanki, who had been in police custody for allegedly insulting the Home Minister on social media, was produced before the Thalassery Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Friday (August 14). After the court remanded him again, the Kuttampuzha police reached the jail and took him into custody.

Meanwhile, the police seized in Taliparamba the car allegedly used by Ayanki while he was absconding. The car, which belongs to his relative, was found abandoned in Taliparamba and taken into police custody.
