The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has launched a public participation campaign, seeking inputs from the citizens, institutions, and stakeholders for shaping Vision-2047, a long-term plan aimed at developing the capital region into a world-class, sustainable urban area.
The CRDA has opened an online survey, inviting people to share their ideas and priorities to guide in the preparation of the region’s master plan.
According to the CRDA, the Vision-2047 initiative seeks to build a collective roadmap that reflects the “spirit, strength, and dreams” of Andhra Pradesh. The citizens’ feedback will serve as a key input in formulating strategies for sustainable development, infrastructure, economy, and quality of life across the capital region.
Covering over 8,600 square km, the capital region is among the largest planned regions in the country. It spans 56 mandals across the districts of Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Palnadu, Bapatla, and Eluru, encompassing more than 900 villages and major urban centres such as Vijayawada, Guntur, Amaravati, and Mangalagiri-Tadepalli.
The CRDA has assured that individual responses to the survey will remain confidential and will be used solely to prepare the vision and master Plan.
Citizens and stakeholders are encouraged to contribute to this exercise and play a role in shaping the future of the State’s capital region.
