Sunray Village Resorts of Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district got the Best Theme Restaurant award for the year-2025, according to a press release from the Resorts Managing Director Rajababu.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu presented the award to Mr. Rajababu at a function organised by the State Government on the occasion of World Tourism Day in Vijayawada on Saturday (September 27, 2025).
Minister for Tourism Kandula Durgesh, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation MD Amrapali Kata congratulated Mr. Rajababu, who assured them that the resort would continue to maintain the highest standards in providing services to tourists. He said the resort was constructing a new five star hotel near the existing resort against the backdrop of construction of international airport at Bhogapuram. He hoped that the demand for rooms would increase with the construction of the airport, which is expected to begin its operations in June, 2026.
