One more death due to amoebic meningoencephalitis was reported in Kerala on Friday, this time from Kollam.
The death of a 65-year-old male following amoebic meningoencephalitis was reported from Palathara, Kollam, taking the total number of deaths due to the infection in the State this year to 33.
Two more cases were also reported on Friday, from Thodiyoor in Kollam and another from Edapally in Ernakulam.
This year, as on October 31, Kerala has reported a total of 153 cases and 33 deaths due to amoebic meningoencephalitis.
