Allot developed plots to farmers who gave land for Education Hub, CM tells officials

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed displeasure over the delay in allotting developed plots to farmers who had parted with their land for the Education Hub in Hakimpet, in his native Kodangal constituency, and directed that title documents be handed over to beneficiaries within a week.

During a visit to the Hakimpet Education Hub in Dudyal mandal of Vikarabad district on Tuesday, the Chief Minister inspected the ongoing construction works and later held a comprehensive review meeting on development projects across the constituency.

He expressed dissatisfaction over the slow pace of construction and instructed officials to expedite the works. He sought monthly progress reports on every project being executed on the campus and warned that negligence would invite disciplinary action.

Reviewing the Makthal–Narayanpet–Kodangal Lift Irrigation Project, Mr. Reddy instructed officials to ensure that land acquisition was completed without delay. He said the government was ready to provide additional surveyors and allocate the required funds to expedite the process.

The Chief Minister also reviewed rural infrastructure works and said no tribal habitation should remain without road access. He also called for the construction of buildings for newly formed gram panchayats and suggested appointing an executive engineer-level officer to monitor development works on a continuous basis.

The Chief Minister inspected the construction of the Young India Integrated Residential School, engineering college, hostels, veterinary college, government medical college, nursing college and physiotherapy and paramedical college at the Education Hub.

Stating that he would personally monitor the progress of the project every month, Mr. Reddy announced that he would spend one day each month at the site to review the works. He said he would return on August 30, hold another review meeting at the Education Hub and stay there overnight to closely monitor progress.

MLAs Ram Mohan Reddy and Manohar Reddy, senior officials from various departments and district officials accompanied the Chief Minister during the visit.
