All MPs are with party only: Shiv Sena (UBT) amid “Operation Tiger” buzz

Amid the “Operation Tiger” buzz, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Monday (June 15, 2026) asserted that all of its MPs are with the Uddhav Thackeray-led party and declared to launch “Operation Wolf”. 

“We will launch operation wolf to target opponents,” said Mr. Raut, adding all the nine MPs are with Party and BJP and Shiv Sena spreading rumours. 

Addressing the absence of the several MPs at party meeting held on Sunday (June 14, 2026), Mr. Raut stated that the several MPs had medical emergencies and attended meeting through video conference. “Omprakash Raje Nimbalkar’s son is in the hospital, Bhausaheb Wakchaure’s spouse is sick. We discussed with them and they agreed to be present through video conference. Sanjay Jadhav will come to meet Mr. Thackeray in two days.” 

State witnessed “Operation Tiger” buzz, speculating MPs from Shiv Sena (UBT) to quit the party and join Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena. As a litmus test, the meeting was held on Sunday at former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s residence, where MP Arvind Sawant, Anil Desai, Rajabhau Waze and Sanjay Patil attended the meeting in person, while Mr.Nimbalkar, Sanjay Deshmukh,Nagesh Bapurao Patil Ashtikar, and Mr. Wakchaure attended VC and, Sanjay Jadhav connected through phone call. 

“All the MPs are with us and will be present at the foundation day of undivided Shiv Sena on June 19,” Mr. Raut added.
