An Air India Express flight operating from Hyderabad to Phuket suffered damage to its nose wheel after making a hard landing at Phuket International Airport in Thailand on Wednesday March 11, 2026).
The flight made a hard landing on arrival, damaging its nose wheel and leaving the aircraft stranded on the airport’s only runway. The incident forced the airport to suspend operations until the evening, with several flights diverted. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft landed at 11:24 am local time.
