Puducherry Minister P. Rajavelu, said he was “amazed to see the kind of support that Mr. Rangasamy had in Tamil Nadu”.

The party also celebrated the birth anniversary of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Kamaraj in advance. Former MLA and Member, Pondy Backward Classes Commission, M. Ilango recalled he and Mr. Rangasamy had met Kamaraj at the same time in 1974 during the elections. “We went as a group.
