Aero India 2027 to be held in Bengaluru from February 8, registrations set to open from September 3

Aero India, Asia’s largest air show and among the world’s premier aerospace and defence exhibitions, will return for its 16th edition at Air Force Station, Yelahanka, in Bengaluru from February 8 to 12, 2027.

A major attraction of the event will be aerial displays by the Indian Air Force and participating international flying teams, offering visitors an opportunity to witness advanced aviation platforms and capabilities in action.

A dedicated web-based portal has been developed to facilitate participation and provide services to exhibitors and visitors. Online registration and exhibition space booking will be available through, with exhibitor registrations scheduled to begin on September 3, 2026.

The event is expected to provide further momentum to the government’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat in defence manufacturing and strengthen India’s position as a trusted partner in the global aerospace and defence supply chain.

Business and tech opportunities

The five-day event will feature a major exhibition along with a range of business and strategic engagements, creating opportunities for industry-to-industry and government-to-industry interactions, technology demonstrations and collaborations.

Aero India 2027 which is being organised by the Department of Defence Production will bring together leading global aerospace and defence companies, policymakers, technology experts, innovators, industry representatives and military personnel on a common platform, according to the Defence Ministry,

It further added that over the years, Aero India has emerged as India’s flagship international aerospace and defence event, showcasing the country’s expanding capabilities in aerospace, defence manufacturing, emerging technologies and innovation.
