Members of the Bar Association, Advocates Association, and Lawyers Association jointly stayed away from court proceedings at the Combined District Court Complex in Tiruvannamalai town on Friday (April 24, 2026), demanding air-conditioned court halls in the complex.

The day-long court boycott by advocates comes after several petitions having been sent to the State government and higher judiciary by advocates to install air-conditioners in the existing 15 court halls of the complex.
